| How to order a Dickey Guitar. Determine your requirements, contact me via email or phone, visit the shop to pick out your woods or just trust me to find suitable woods and forward photos for your perusal. Forward a deposit of one third the cost of the guitar. The deposit assures your place in the build schedule at Dickey Guitars, and locks in the cost of your guitar at the current price. Guitars shipped out of state currently are not charged any sales tax. Standard Specifications are below, many options are available to the guitarmaker and client these days, feel free to contact me to discuss your desires in a fine handmade acoustic guitar. | Some options to enhance your guitar: Florentine Cutaway (point), Venetian Cutaway (rounded), Custom Case made in the USA, see the link to Cedar Creek Custom Cases under Links of Interest, D45 Fretboard inlay, various high end tuners are available (Waverly, Schaller), upgrade tonewoods of any kind imaginable (Cocobolo, Koa Acacia, Flamed Maple, Figured Pomele Sapele, Ovangkol, Santos Rosewood), Abalone and Mother of Pearl rosettes, special finish such as a Sunburst, and even a special order shape instrument. We use and recommend K and K Sound electronics. There is just no end to folks imaginations and it's my job to try and create that very special instrument with the options they desire.
