| A Young Stephen Naegle It is evident in this photo that the young Stephen Naegle saw himself as a artist. This photo shows the serious side of the artist. Notice the pallette in hand. If the shot were any better I bet brushes would be seen as well in this photograph. My guess as to date is college days between 1959 to 1969. |

| Stephen Naegle's boyhood home in Toquerville, Utah. Lynn and Ruth Naegle had five children. This is a very nice rock home with a basement. David Naegle, Utah Trip #2, October 2006 Used with permission. |

| Grandpa's Barn David tells me he used to love to go check out Stephen's collections of Indian artifacts and other things he kept in this old barn. This place is still in the family. David Naegle, Utah Trip #2, October 2006 Used with permission. |

| Stephen and Monty Naegle lived here! Before returning to Utah, Steve had a job teaching art to the Upward Bound class at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is where they lived. His Rambler quit one day and we worked out here on the street one day trying to figure out what was wrong. You can read that story under Naegle Errata. | From Page 6, #40. Teacher Housing This Naegle is classic for Stephen. He would whip out a picture like this in thirty to forty minutes. Remember that many of his years were spent as a college art instructor, leading to many such classroom demonstrations. Typically unsigned, compare this to #5 on Page 1. This delightful watercolor is from the collection of Dean Shelton. Dean traded for this while at Arkansas Tech. 15 by 22" I include this painting on this page, because it may actually be a place where he and Monty lived while a art instructor at Arkansas Polytechnic College. I remember right before they left Arkansas they lived in a two bedroom apartment on the west side. |

| Artist's Reflection Stephen's image shows up as a reflection in this picture of Cabin and Pole Fence. I wanted to include it in the website because it is unusual, and it shows the difficulty of getting a good picture of a glass-protected framed painting. This is a problem that me and many others have experienced in trying to share our Naegles with you. This slide is part of the Naegle Family Collection and is used with permission.
