| 279. Saddles and Spurs There is a great story with this painting. Stephen's mother and father courted during rides on horseback. This painting of saddles and pair of spurs commemorate Stephen's parents falling in love. This painting hangs above a mantle and the actual set of spurs lies on the mantle under the painting. | 281. The Craftsman David Naegle told me he remembers this painting from when he was younger. He said the painting was of a man holding a tool, working in some fashion. The above photoedited picture will serve as a nice place holder until we find the painting. If you own the Craftsman, please share it with us in the form of a picture. We'd love to see it. | 282. Doubletree Watercolor of a cabin exterior corner, with a doubletree harness hardware hanging on the wall of the cabin, casting shadows down the logs of the cabin. Very nice. Sorry for the blur of the slide, if you own Doubletree (name on the slide is singletree), we'd love to have a better picture for the website. Privacy of ownership is offered by noting Private Collection. Naegle Family Collection, Used with Permission. David Naegle, Utah Trip #3, November, 2006 |
