38. Casper Farm This pastoral scene landscape has very enjoyable Fall colors in abundance. The stream gives life to the painting with it's cool colors. A 7 by 9" oil, purchased on a trip to Casper. From the collection of Dean Shelton

39. Train Station Watercolor signed by Naegle, of a train station complete with a huge door on the side and apparently a ramp or dock? Dean says the Train Station painting and the Teacher Housing painting are on the same sheet of watercolor paintings. 15 by 22". This is from the collection of Dean Shelton.

40. Teacher Housing This Naegle is classic for Stephen. He would whip out a picture like this in thirty to forty minutes. Remember that many of his years were spent as a college art instructor, leading to many such classroom demonstrations. Typically unsigned, compare this to #5 on Page 1. This delightful watercolor is from the collection of Dean Shelton. Dean traded for this while at Arkansas Tech. 15 by 22"

41. Kilburn's Grocery Going North a short distance out of Russellville on State Highway 7 is Kilburn's Grocery. This unsigned Naegle watercolor is whimsical in nature, more sketch like than his serious works. This work was traded for while Stephen and Dean were at Arkansas Tech in Russellville. From Dean Shelton's Collection

42. Fern A very artistic treatment of some simple fern leaves in a composition. I really, really like this pencil drawing. Signed in the lower center it's a real piece of work. Notice the gradient of color from dingy yellow to white, top to bottom. I think it has a watercolor background. Steve was so good at this wash/gradient technique. This work is from Dean Shelton's Collection. Dean says he traded for this work while at Arkansas Tech. 16 by 14".
