109. Norris Feed, 1979, watercolor, 16" x 22",
a small feed mill with exposed piping across the
many rooflines and additions. Three dominant
power lines in view with tree line in the distance.
110. Medicine Bow Station, 1977,
watercolor 6" x 12", a small railway station,
deserted and in disuse. Powerlines figure
predominantly in the background under a grey
sky.
111. Autumn Mood, 1979, watercolor 9" x 13",
a multiple tree thicket, definitely in autumn
colors and with stubborn leaves still clinging to
the other wise bare limbs.
112. Palms, 1981, watercolor, 28 1/2" x 21",
this sizeable painting features a massive date
palm. The subject seems somewhat foreign but
it is very well done. Smaller palms along each
side of the painting fading from view.
113. Cottonwoods, 1979, oil, 10 1/2" by 13
1/2", a most beautiful fall foliage painting of a
cottonwood tree in the center of a field. Great
use of his thicket limb work. Additional
cottonwoods and other color trees in the
background.
These paintings can be found in the Nicolaysen
Art Museum Booklet, Stephen Naegle, 1988.
