| 104. Moth Study, 1979, watercolor, 4 5/8" x 7 7/8" 105. Beet Digger, 1974, watercolor 12 1/2" x 19 1/2", a really large machine for digging beets and sifting away the soil from the plants. 106. Ore Carts, no date, watercolor 19 3/4" x 13", a view from above of just the front of a couple of ore carts. A very bold vertical painting. 107. Pioneer, no date, watercolor, 13 1/2" x 17 1/4", an interesting driver's view inside an old rusty car with a right half raised hood. The steering wheel is one third broken away, a door is ajar, headlamp housing in view. Old license plate hangs curiously on the dash. Strong internal shadows indicate a missing roof and airy feel. 108. Riverton Workshop, no date, watercolor, 12 1/2" x 20 1/2", A stately frame home in a neighborhood. Many trees and fence on left. Bay window on the two-story white clapboard, many strong shadows. |
