| 79. Navajo Sandstone - Sunrise This painting is found in the Southwest Art magazine, October 1980 issue. It is used to illustrate a C. G. Rein Gallery showing Opening October 23, 1980. The ad states, "We are proud to open our season with a stunning collection of oils and watercolors by Stephen Naegle. At last, there is an artist who does justice to the rich and varied textures of the Southwest." The Ebay Ad that listed this art magazine page for sale said it was 8 1/2 inch by 11 inches. That is the ad page. The oil painting is actually 50" by 60" over four feet by five feet. What a large work of art, no doubt one of Stephen's largest. If the owner would please contact me I'd like to see it in person. |
