The Works of Stephen Naegle - A Catalogue, Page 11
61. Bryce Canyon

46 by 33 1/2 inches, Acrylic applied with a palette knife.  It has a lot of
texture to the paint; it was not done with a brush, but a small spatula-like
knife.
I heard Steve comment in later years as he visited our
house, that he couldn't believe he'd ever used that much paint.

63.  Old Man in Chair

This small watercolor of an Native American man in a chair is
bordered by a white space.  Apparently Naegle painted inside
a pre-determined space leaving a nice white paper border.
Very interesting treatment.

64, 65.  Two more Small Watercolors

I am in possession of a three page hand-written letter from a
Naegle owner.  He tells me he has a digital camera and email
capability and will be happy to send pictures of these if they
turn out well.  Being an optimist, I'm in agreement that they will
turn out just fine.  Thanks a million, they'll go right here.
